How to Use

To prolong the life of your soap in the shower, it is best used with a washcloth or loofah and not directly on the skin. Place out of direct stream of water and allow to dry thoroughly between uses.

For hand washing, scrub for at least 20 seconds. Place soap in a draining soap dish without letting sit in water and allow to dry between use.

Lore & Inspiration

Mistress Demeter of Greek myth is the inspiration for this soap. Revered as a goddess of harvest, in particular grains, she was often depicted with sheaves of barley or wheat. The poppy was also a symbol of Demeter, especially in her cults at Eleusis, and planted together with grains. As it turns out unfortunately, poppies have no scent but all flowers fall under Demeter’s domain.
